Dr. Erin O'LearyMedical DirectorErin O'Leary has extensive experience working and managing small animal hospitals in Virginia and North Carolina. She completed her veterinary education in Virginia where she received several awards for leadership and compassion. Dr. O'Leary has performed research on orangutans and gorillas at the National Zoo, interned at the Arlington Animal Shelter in Virginia and administered medical care to rhino, buffalo and other species at Kruger National Park in South Africa. Dr. O'Leary's focus is on general companion animal medicine with a comprehensive approach to every patient. She is also rehabilitation and therapeutic massage to provide as adjunctive tools in the care of our patients. Dr. O'Leary will work with you to ensure that she understands every aspect of your pet's life including diet, environment, lifestyle, personality and special needs. She will establish the best plan of action for your pets whether providing preventative care or treating an injury or illness. Prior to entering the veterinary field, Dr. O'Leary worked as a kindergarten teacher in Washington, DC. She has one dog, a very stubborn basset named Trooper, whom you may encounter lying in the middle of any given walkway in the Santa Monica Center |

Chantelle Moffatt-BlueManagerChantelle Moffatt-Blue graduated from California State University Long Beach with a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology. During her senior year of college, she started to volunteer with Kitten Rescue, a Los Angeles based, non-profit cat rescue group dedicated to saving homeless cats. Her experience in rescue revealed her passion for helping animals in need, spurring her decision to pursue a career in the field of veterinary medicine. Chantelle now has several years of experience as a technician and receptionist. She especially enjoys educating clients on how to best care for their pets and is the Animal Wellness resident cat expert! Outside of work, Chantelle still spends a lot of free time volunteering with rescue groups, but also enjoys hiking in the local mountains with her husband, cooking, and downhill skiing. And, of course, playing and cuddling with her fabulous felines! |
